Bangladesh Sammilita Peshajibi Parishad, UK, today expressed profound sorrow at the passing of Professor Mahmuda Begum, mother of Engineer Dr. Mahmudur Rahman, former Energy Advisor, former convener of Bangladesh Sammilita Peshajibi Parishad, and editor of 'Amar Desh' newspaper. Professor Mahmuda Begum passed away early this morning, Sunday, while undergoing treatment at Barakah Kidney Hospital in Mogbazar, Dhaka (Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un).

In a statement issued Sunday afternoon, signed by acting convener Educator Nasrullah Khan Junaid and member secretary Engineer Barrister Tariq Bin Aziz, Bangladesh Sammilita Peshajibi Parishad, UK, extended its deepest condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family.
